Glorious Rainy Days with the Kaufman Guild

 

 

The Kaufman Guild brought the rain to Milford.  We were happy to see them both!  They were busy working on lots of beautiful quilts this weekend, finishing many of their UFOs.  One of the most spectacular quilts of the weekend is the Kaufman Guild 2012 Hot & Spicy raffle quilt.  It’s a Judy Niemeyer quilt with a southwest twist.  We’ve included a picture of the work in progress.  You’ll want to contact the Kaufman Guild and purchase tickets for this one!

Happy 2B Quilters & other Friends

 

 

 

This weekend we were blessed to have the Happy 2B Quilters who were joined by some scrapbooking co-workers.  In addition we had two more scrapbookers and a knitter to join them.  Blended retreats are so much fun.  Everyone was working on so many different things – from Halloween to Christmas and anything in between.

We celebrated Leigh’s 50th birthday and our Houston friend Brenda’s birthday too!

Everyone was busy cranking out the quilts this weekend.   The weekend mantra was captured in the picture below.

Thanks to Janet Brown we have a “real” dinner bell to call our guests to the dining room.
